On the second Sunday of May, Stropkov square was filled with running enthusiasts who were eager to take part in the oldest sporting event in the region for the 37th consecutive year. The competitors ran half-a-marathon route (21 097 m) on an asphalt road which led from N\u00e1mestie SNP via Cintor\u00ednska, A. Hlinku, Chot\u010dansk\u00e1, then Chot\u010da and finally Bukovce. Approximately 550 meters past Bukovce, the runners turned back and continued via the same route back to N\u00e1mestie SNP.<\/p>\n

The whole event was organised for charitable purposes, with the money reward being donated to the non-profit organisation Dobry Anjel.<\/p>\n

Nika \u010corbov\u00e1, born in Stropkov, came first in the 20 km run.<\/p>\n
