Description of activity: The first stage of the project involves the reconstruction of the existing Rača Cultural Center building on Žarnovická Street in the Bratislava – Rača district. It is a rectangular building with two above-ground floors and a flat roof, without a basement. Due to the unsuitable existing load-bearing system of the building with limited load-bearing capacity and a structural design that does not allow the current required fire resistance of the load-bearing structures of the building to be achieved while maintaining the function of a cultural center with a library. The reconstruction does not change the shape or dimensions of the original building, but improves its technical condition and energy efficiency, and all internal distribution systems and technologies will be replaced. The reconstruction also includes the connection of utility networks.
