Description of activity: This project focuses on the completion of a city block right in the historical heart of Žilina, in the area bounded by Andrej Hlinka Square and M. R. Štefánik, Republiky and Kukučínova streets. The architectural design sensitively complements the surrounding development and respects the nearby cultural monuments of Ciachovňa and Elektrárne. The core of the construction are two multifunctional apartment buildings (block A and B), which rise above shared three-story underground garages. Part of the entire concept is the creation of a lively inner block with relaxing greenery and a children’s playground, which will serve as a publicly accessible relaxation zone.
