Citizen association „AkSen – Active senior“ has origin in september 2009 like a initiative group of people, who wanted to take advantage of their abbilities in benefit to the other seniors in Slovakia. Since then they have helped tens of seniors, overcome their difficult lifetime situations, get over of the loss of their relatives, as well as find new friends, or reasons for active life style and jjoy of a life.

AkSen has many regional branch offices. One of them is situated in east Slovakia in the city Presov, where company KAMI PROFIT financially provided spaces including the cost of a year-round operation.

Members of citizen associatian, active seniors, are taking part in cultural or sport events, organizing voluntary activities, taking part in art courses and many more interesting events. On their own website are offering a guidance in areas such as finance, law, lifestyle, health as well as an opportunity to meet.
