Description of activity: The aim of the design solution for Muchovo námestie is to provide residents of adjacent apartment buildings and visitors to the area with a fully-fledged public space.

The planting of green areas is conceived as mixed perennial beds, requiring low maintenance, whose composition respects the extreme conditions of the urban environment. The vegetation elements are designed to take into account the conditions of the given location.

The design of the vegetation modifications took into account the functionality of the area first and foremost. The design of the vegetation modifications follows a clear concept of green planting so that the newly created green areas serve the local residents in a practical way.

The functional use focuses on active recreation. The green areas also include play elements. The space is complemented by mature trees, mixed perennial beds, and undergrowth beds. A hedge separates the area from the parking lot, which also serves a safety function, especially with regard to children playing in the area, as there is a playground nearby.

From a conceptual point of view, the design is inspired by the work of Alfons Mucha, which is reflected in the design in the form of rounded curves and the use of pastel colors. These are mainly elements of furniture that accentuate the entire space. It is mainly pastel green, complemented by yellow to golden yellow.
