On Thursday, 1 October 2026, we officially launched the construction of a new community facility – the Človíček 2 day care centre – in Plzeň-Skvrňany. KAMI PROFIT s.r.o. is the general contractor for the project.
Construction was symbolically launched with the laying of the foundation stone, attended by prominent representatives of the City of Plzeň and representatives of the organisations involved in delivering the project.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Plzeň, Roman Zarzycký, who officially inaugurated the project and delivered the main address. Also present was Jiří Šrámek, the City Councillor for Social Affairs and Active Ageing, along with other representatives of the City of Plzeň, which is the investor and contracting authority for the project.
Representatives of Diakonie ČCE – the Western Bohemia Centre, which will operate the facility once completed, also attended the event, together with representatives of KAMI PROFIT s.r.o., the company delivering the project as the general contractor.
Modern facilities for 36 clients
The new day care centre will provide facilities for 36 clients, including people with severe multiple disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
The aim of the project is to create a modern, safe and high-quality environment tailored to the specific needs of its future users. The facility will also include dedicated spaces for specialised education and learning activities for clients.
A project with significant social impact
The construction of the Človíček 2 day care centre represents a significant investment in the development of social services in Plzeň. It will help expand the capacity of care services for people who require specialised support and assistance in their daily lives.
For KAMI PROFIT, involvement in this project represents not only another major construction undertaking, but also an opportunity to contribute to the creation of a facility with a meaningful and lasting social impact.
We are proud that, as the general contractor, we can contribute our expertise and experience to a project that, once completed, will provide high-quality, dignified facilities for clients, their families and the staff who care for them.
