The unique roof construction of the fuel station is elliptic in shape and covers most of the area with the gasoline pumps and partly the office too. The interesting and challenging roof construction is a spatial steel construction made of arches. It consists of two almost 14 meter radius arches with an angle of 27° from the horizontal plane. They are moved so that their intersection point is 2,2 meters above the foundation blocks. The own weight of the construction and 10 ropes provide the arches with stability. The space between the arches is going to be filled with a textile membrane. The anchor and the pre-stressing of the membrane provide the structure with enough static stability and weather resistance against the required snow and wind load.
The petrol station was handed over to the investor on December 31.
It is expected to be open to the public in June 2017 .
